The real cause of the social care crisis

It seems the false news of this winter is that the crisis in social care is caused by people living longer. False news pushed by the people responsible for causing the mess.
The reality is that in generations past parents looked after their kids and then in old age the kids looked after their parents. This is no longer possible because all the "spare family members" are now having to work to survive. This is also not possible because parents are unable to help their parents financially as they are instead having to help their kids survive.
The system created carer jobs and child care jobs so all the people could work, and work more years, without thinking about how the extra income would be created to pay for these replacement services.
To compound their mistake they never factored in that provided services would be more expensive than if provided by family members.
As the retirement age increases, combined with less people being able to afford to retire, there will be even less "spare family members" or " spare family cash" to help family members that need support.
So don't be conned that the crisis in social care services is caused by some sudden medical breakthrough. Its purely caused by short term policy making by the bankers and short term vote buying by politicians whose greed to stay in power is greater than their morals.
